We selected this variety because, although late, in taste tests this is a superior heirloom. Large, thin skinned, fleshy variety. Cultivation: Tomatoes thrive on beds used for brassica crops the previous year. Feed with complete fertiliser and sheep manure. Sow indoors in pots with heat in late August. Transplant in Nov. Put clear plastic around to increase soil warmth. Feed with sulphate of potash when fruit has set.
