This selection was bred by Carole Deppe, a professional plant breeder, and Nate France in Oregon. In our trials it proved an excellent delicate type. Six 35cm oval, yellow striped, green fruit in late Summer on a semi trailing 1.5m by 1.5m plant. Many male flowers form earlier than other varieties and then the female flowers form early Summer pollination is fast. From seed grown in Tasmania by us, untreated.The fruit bake very fast, about 20 minutes, the flesh is superb and soft with a buttery flavour but not sweet like sweet grey pumpkin.
