Open pollinated variety bred by Carole Deppe in Oregon. The roots are cylindrical approx. 8cm long, rose red exterior brilliant white interior. Very sweet and juicy, with mild flavours. From seed grown in Tasmania by us, untreated. Carole has bred this for the delicious green leaves in salads or as a garnish too. Sow early Spring, or late Summer 5mm deep in a furrow 30cm apart in the row, thin the seedlings to 10cm apart when the first few leaves form, Feed three times in the growing season with COF.
