|When to sow||
Very interesting variety, 2.5m plant, producing an abundance of yellow/orange flowers followed by high yields of 7cm flat green pods in early January, these become firm towards February as the round seeds develop. When cooked as a small flat bean It has very sweet flavours, but it is mainly used as a dry bean when harvested end March and dried on the plant. The beans are round and half white/half rich red colour. They must be cooked for at least an hour in boiling water.
